CANGO SMALL NGOs GRANTS SCHEME
"Empowering the Young To Grow"
One of the major motivating forces behind CANGO is the desire to see an expansion of civil society space. However, it cannot be sidestepped the fact that several NGOs the world over, who otherwise possess very proactive ideas towards bettering the lot of populations of the world suffer from severe handicaps mainly in the nature of the absence of working capital towards actualising these desirable schemes.
At CANGO we have therefore decided to intervene in the direction of attempting to empower these small NGOs, who otherwise have good programmes but do not have the financial well-withal to actualise their dreams.
In this connection therefore, CANGO is floating this "Small NGOs Grants Scheme" to which any NGO or CSO in the Commonwealth can apply for grants of between $500 to $1000.
To this effect receipts of applications have now opened and interested applicants from the Commonwealth Countries can apply.
