The Commonwealth Association of
NGOs, CANGO will be publishing various intellectual publications and productions
by members of CANGO with an immense sense of responsibility of the overwhelming
compelling need to see the emergence of a free world.
All around us today, we are
confronted with brazen images of oppression, of suppression, of subjugation,
and of a brutal but doomed attempt to return mankind back to the days of the
shameful existence in the state of nature.
Ours at CANGO is an avowed
offensive against the social illiteracy in the dynamics of a free society;
against retrogression and in support of the need to mobilise technical, intellectual, and
other social resources to provide practical tools to confront the challenges of realising the imperative of development in the 21st Century. Theory and
Practice, in other words, praxis and paradigms must be mobilised to solve the pluralisms of
problems that confront the world.
From the CANGO stable, the
following publications shall be published which shall provide a platform for
diverse shades of voices to be heard.
1. The Journal of
the Commonwealth Association of NGOs, "OCTOPUS" will provide
quarterly a veritable platform for the expression of multifarious and
multi-disciplinary opinions, views and research findings. Contributions are hereby sought from NGO
professionals and volunteers from around the Commonwealth and the world on any subject.
2. DIVERSITY: CANGO's
Monthly Newsletter: Also a brain child of our ravenous and ever craving
desire for truth and justice, the newsletter would also contain news of interest
to CANGO members and the NGO Community in the Commonwealth. And will further our
expressed desire to provide an enduring platform for meaningful and productive
civil society expression. Articles, views and news are also invited to be
sent in.
